Revolutionizing the Future of Philanthropy
Our Mission & Impact
Amor Latino Counseling Center (Casa Madre) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing trauma-informed mental health support rooted in spiritual, ancestral, and holistic practices. We uplift survivors of domestic violence and underserved communities through scholarships, mentorship, education, and community-centered healing.
Healing The Sacred Thread
A Resiliency Festival which is a vital expression of Amor Latino Counseling Center’s mission to provide trauma-informed, culturally rooted mental health care. This gathering brings together community, art, ceremony, and holistic practices to create spaces of collective healing. By uplifting survivors, honoring cultural traditions, and making mental health support accessible outside of clinical walls, the festival bridges psychology, spirituality, and community care. It is important to our organization because it embodies our belief that healing is not only individual but collective — when one person heals, the entire community rises.

Pachamama’s Poetry Café
A Community Open Mic for Youth Empowerment
Pachamama’s Poetry Café is a heart-centered community gathering that brings together local businesses, families, and youth for an evening of poetry, storytelling, and shared inspiration.
Through an open mic format, young people participating in the Jóvenes Libres Youth Leadership & EMDR Trauma Therapy Scholarship Program are invited to share their voices, creativity, and dreams alongside community mentors and local entrepreneurs.
This intergenerational event creates a space where students can build confidence, develop leadership skills, and connect with supportive adults who believe in their future.
At Amor Latino Counseling Center, every donation directly funds healing programs that uplift survivors, families, and youth in our community. Here’s how your generosity makes a difference:
-
Women’s Healing Retreat (May 12–14, 2026)
Proceeds from Healing the Sacred Thread Festival will sponsor three survivors of domestic violence to attend this restorative retreat free of cost.
-

Jóvenes Libres Youth Program
A therapeutic, creative healing program for young people ages 11-18 years, which includes art, meditation, music production, and Rapid EMDR intensives to support resilience and mental wellness.
-
Family Support for Neurodivergent Children
Our support groups provide families with unique healing experiences such as sensory-friendly sound bowls, mother’s womb ceremonies, and Access Bars treatments — all offered free of charge to the community.
